Passion is the type of horse we breeders
dream of - solid black with a beautiful
head and neck, near perfect
conformation, and uphill elastic
movement. In addition she is very brave
and sweet and will follow you anywhere.
She received a well deserved First
Premium from the Oldenburg Verband. We
plan to add her to our mare herd to
replace her dam Donna Akzenta, but
would consider a sharing ownership with
someone who wishes to ride and show
her. She should finish at 16.2-16.3 hands.
Sire - Presidio
Passion's dam, Donna Akzenta, was an
Elite Mare Candidate who tied for 7th in
the nation for the Hanoverians with an
inspection score of 7.5. She had
outstanding movement with tremendous
power off the ground from the first step.
She has been used primarily as a brood
mare and has produced three beautiful
foals all of whom were black or dark
brown.
Her sire Don Primero (DI - 186) is the
product of Groenwaldhof's two most
famous sires - Donnerhall (DI-156) and Pik
Bube I (DI-141, JI-126). Don Primero is one
of the best producers of dressage horses
in all of Germany. Don Primero has proven
himself in the world of international
dressage and as a sire of top quality
dressage competitors. He has been the
world's leading dressage sire for four
consecutive years, and earned an
incredible 194 index in 2003. In 1990, Don
Primero won the German Dressage Horse
Championships in Verden, under Heiko
Munzmaier, emulating his illustrious sire,
Donnerhall. German Olympic Team rider
Karin Rehbein then took over saddle
duties and trained him up to Grand Prix
level. He has also won in-hand and
jumping classes. His offspring excel in
dressage, but also compete well in
advanced show jumping, driving and
eventing. Don Primero has 10 licensed
sons including Bundeschampions Don
Larino and Dimaggio, Don Duriello and
Don Bravio. He has been very successful
as the sire of Bundeschampionate stars
like Devil’s Bride, Dynamico, Dimaggio
(also a World Young Dressage Horse
Champion) and Don Larino. Cherie has
certainly made the step up to FEI ranks
and has been virtually unbeatable at Prix
St Georges level. Don Primero is a full
brother in blood to the Danish based
stallion and Grand Prix performer, Don
Schufro (whose dam Fiesta is a full sister
to Fantasia).
Akzent II ( DI-115) has produced many
performance horses such as Atachi as
well as the approved stallions Apollo's
Flight, Alabaster, Anheltiner, and Akatchi.

Mare Agatha Christie who has produced
several Verden Auction horses. Akzent II
was regarded as one of the best
producers of ridabilty in modern day
horse breeding. He is also the dam's sire
of the well-known stallions De Niro and
Dimension.
Gutenburg is by the Thoroughbred sire
Good Match xx out of a Sender mare.
Good Match xx also sired the Spruce
Meadows stallion Goodwill who produced
a number of good hunters and jumpers as
well as the Spruce Meadows inspection
champion Gracia.
