Tina was imported as a jumper and shown in open
classes for several years. She has now retired to our
broodmare herd. She has produced two incredible foals
from Leslie Webb's Tip Top. She is in foal to Presidio for a
June baby.

Remondo, a Westfalen stallion by Renaldo out of a Arab
Stallion Ramses who founded the R line in modern
European warmblood breeding. Rubinstein, Rhodiamont,
Rotspon, Raphael, and many other influential stallions
descend from Ramses. Remondo had a number of
international competitors from his five years in Belgium
including Tina's  full brother Senna described below.

( The following is translated from the
Stoeterij van Paemel website - home of
Tina's breeder Luc Van Eeckhoudt -
about Tina's mother and dam-line)

A mare like Querida, you only meet once in a lifetime.
She had an honest nature. She was a great personality
but she would nevertheless always think along with you.
She was very beautiful and she had a proper build. She
participated into the national mare competitions and into
international dressage competitions (Intermediaire) with
Jan Dupond.

Querida was born from the tribal mare Toebak (Toebak
herself competed in middle classes jumping and highest
classes of dressage) and she had the unrivalled Lugano
van LaRoche (sire of Darco) as a father. She was a pure
product of the 'Lugano-Flügel' combination that made the
BWP-studbook great.

Her brother Clovis was sold to America by Hendrickx,
where he won the championship of 6 year old horses.
Felix, another brother of Querida had an excellent career
in Italy...
Also as a mother, Querida was hard to be surpassed. The
combination of Querida and Furioso Z leaded to the well-
known sport horse Goliath, who competed at the highest
international level with Patrick McEntee, Jean-Maurice
Bonneau, Henk vd Pol and Jerry Smit. In 1994 Goliath
became second at the Belgian Championship and 4th at
the European championship for Young Riders with
Patrick McEntee. Later he finished 2nd in the 'puissance'
of CSIO Mechelen, 6th in the 'Grand Prix' of CSI
Chaudfontaine, 5th in CSI Paris,...

Querida's second son Senna van Paemel (by Remondo)
has won the circuit of 4 year old horses with Nick Vrins.
At the age of five he became third at the circuit of 5 year
old horses. Later that year he participated at the world
championships for young horses in Lanaken what
resulted in a 12th place in the ranking of the final. At the
age of 7 he, for one was 2nd in the young horses division
of CSI Vichy, and he finished 10th in the French
championship. When he was 8th he started competing in
'Grand Prix' with his rider Philippe Rozier. In the
meanwhile he has already won the 'Grand Prix' of Bois-le-
Roi, was 2nd in 1m50 in CSI Nantes, 6th in 1m50 in CSIO
La Baule  (VIDEO!!), 9th in the 'Grand Prix' of CSI-W
Wellington, 13th in the French championship...

Other products of this bloodline are, among others,
'Bario van 't Martendonkerf' who has been sold for  €
75.000 at the auction 2004 of CSI-W Mechelen and
Pussycat van Paemel who is competing in the United
States with Martha Nevins.

Tina was put down on July 27,2007 for severe colic. Our
condolences to her owner Sheryl Ross and our thanks for
allowing us to share in her life. Her 6 week old daughter has
been adopted by our own "Super Mare" Cartier.  She is still
missing her mommy but is  adjusting to her new life as
Prada's little sister.  Tina will be missed by all.
