Canterbury Court
Main Studbook mare West Wind by Walt Disney
has been used as my personal riding horse.
She has elastic movement and a natural talent
for piaffe and passage. Since we reserve our
very best mares for our herd she was retired
from riding. She has produced seven out of
seven First Premium foals for the Oldenburg
Verband (
Paradiso , Perugena,  Pago Pago,
, Prestige, and Persia, and
Panama) as well as two very  good Hanoverian
foals (
El Dorado and Giselle). West
Wind's foals show high quality movement and
very good jumping ability.  Her Daughter Persia
C was the 2014 Mare Performance Test
Champion in the US and earned a Verband's
Special Premium status.

West Wind's sire  Walt Disney was the winner of
the 11 month performance test at
Adelheidsdorf and has a dressage index of 136.
He is a half brother to Weltmeyer and Warkant,
two other well recognized dressage sires.

Novize is a son of the Thoroughbred
improvement sire Novum xx who is best known
in the US for his grandson Nebelhorn. Novize
was used as a refining sire whose influence is
primarily seen through his daughters.

Argentan was "1994 Hanoverian Stallion of the
Year" producing 100 state's premium mares,
19 approved sons, and 500 of his offspring
have competed successfully in both dressage
and jumping guaranteeing Argentan a spot in
the Club of Millionaires. Argentan was one of
the most important founding sires of the
modern Hannoverian. Argentan was Reserve
Champion of his stallion licensing in 1969, and
the following year, was 4th out of 15
candidates in the performance test.In 1994 he
was crowned Hannoverian Stallion of the Year
as a result of his extraordinary success as a
sire. Argentan was the sire of 805 competition
horses who won a total of DM1,648,638. His
broodmares in particular were highly regarded
and included three Champion German Riding
Horse mares at the DLG show: Aragonia (1978),
Ascona (1980) and Arabella (1984). However he
was also the sire of some top performers
including Mario Deslauriers 1984 World Cup
winner, Aramis. He was the sire of 19 stallion
sons, including Airport, Al Capone and most
famed of all, Argentinus. He has had great
success as a damsire as well most notably
with Rotspon, sired by Rubinstein out of an
Argentan mare.

In 2015 we are giving West Wind
a year off. She had an
exceptionally large foal this year
and has lost a great deal of
weight. We plan to fatten her up
this fall and then see how she
looks this spring.  She has been
a very good  producer and iis
getting a well earned rest. 100%
of her foals have been awarded
First Premium status.
