Cordalme - Hill Hawk xx - Lockruf - Wrede
1996 Chestnut  Hanoverian mare

Cartier is a fabulous mover whose pedigree
promises incredible jumping ability. She is an
Elite mare candidate for the AHS and is in the
Main Mare Book for the Oldenburg Verband.
Cartier, while bred to jump, has a very
elevated trot, and a powerful canter making
her an ideal broodmare for producing all round
performers. She has had four foals two of
which have been started by Willie Arts and
one which was designated a stallion prospect
by the Oldenburg Verband. She also carries a
sabino gene making her very attractive to
anyone who wishes to breed colored
dressage horses. We have designated Cartier
as a "Super Mare". Not only does she produce
wonderful babies but she has also adopted an
orphan filly to raise along side her own
daughter. These maternal qualities are well
prized in a breeding mare.

Her sire Cordalme is by the legendary Selle
Francais stallion Cor de la Bruyere and was
the winner of the Grand Prix of Achen and a
member of the German Nation's Cup team.
Cordalme Z has had a great influence on
German show jumping and was short-listed for
the '96 Olympic Games. He was a premium
stallion in 1988 and 1990. His sire, Cor de la
Bruyere, represents the best jumping
attributes and his sons share his ability to
pass on dominant genetics for success in the
sport. Cordalme's dam, Aleska Z, has two
other approved sons, Royal Z, who was the
first champion stallion of the 1987 Danish
stallion performance test, and Royal II was
second vice-champion of the 1988 approval in
Herning, vouching for the prepotency of this
dam line. Aleska Z also produced the mare
Rolanda by Roland, who has had many
international successes since 1994. She won
the Rastede Grand Prix, the tournament of
champions in Munster, Aix la, Chapelle,
Geesteren, Berlin, the World Cup show
jumping com petition in Millstreet, Ireland and
the city of Frankfurt competition.  Cordalme Z
himself was the winner of the Falsterbo,
Sweden Nation's Cup, highly placed in the
Grand Prix' of Modena, Italy, Barcelona, Spain
and the German Masters in Stuttgart. He was
third in the North-Rhine Westphalian Grand
Prix in Aix la Chapelle and second in the finals
of the German Classics in Bremen. After an
initial indication of his prepotency through
Cordijan, Cordalme Z made his international
breakthrough in 2000--when he produced two
horses for the Sydney Olympic Games,
Clawaro and Careful. His son Colour Robin is a
German Nation Jumping Champion and a top
ten finisher in the 2005 World Cup.

Cartier's dam SPS Hillary by Hill Hawk xx has
a licensed son by Weltmeyer who sold for
130,000 DM at the 2001 Hanoverian stallion
licensing.

The Irish Thoroughbred Hill Hawk XX was one
of the most successful improving stallions at
the Hanoverian State Stud at Celle. He
produced 5 graded sons plus the international
dressage horse Highness and the
international eventers High Point and High
Prince His dressage BLUP of 125 is very high
for a Thoroughbred stallion. He has produced
a number of excellent broodmares including
SPS Cileste the dam of six approved stallions,
Welt Hit I-VI and the maternal grandam of the
2003 German National foal champion.

Lockruf by Lugano I (der Lowe xx),
unfortunately only stood for one season.
Despite his short time breeding he is the dam
sire of the World Cup Champions Salinero
(Anky van Grunsven) and Brentina (Debbie
MacDonald) as well as the Olympian Barclay
(Sven Rothenberger) and the and the FEI
jumper Seven-Up (Woo Jung-Ho). Laura, one of
the mares Lockruf produced, is the grand dam
of Florestan, the sire of World Riding Horse
Champions Florenco, French Kiss, and Fuerst
Heinrich.
